Where to Practice Speaking English (and Visit!) - The Peabody Essex Museum in Salem

A great place for your learner to practice their spoken English (and visit a new place as well) is at one of the conversation circles held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. 
If you're looking for a way for your learner to practice their spoken English, and want them to visit a new place as well, how about a trip to the English conversation circles at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem? 

The Peabody Essex is one of the oldest museums in the United States and holds one of the major US collections of Asian art.  It also features maritime art and history, American art, Asian, Oceanic, and African art. 

However, one of the most important assets of this museum is the Peabody Institute Library. Peabody Institute Library is not only a great historic destination which maintains archives dating back to 18th century, it is also a home to classes for 

English Conversation Circle  is one of the Peabody Institute Library classes which are open to public  for free. This conversation circle gives a opportunity for non-native English speaking adults to improve their speaking skills. 

The learners practice English speaking skills in an informal and relaxed setting. Sessions are  led by a volunteer for one hour each week, and run for 6 weeks. 


The learner can choose classes on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. The conversation circles start at 6 p.m. and lasts till 7 p.m. Prior registration is a requirement, and seating is limited for each group.
