Do you have a Chinese learner who is preparing for the TOEFL, GRE, or IELTS tests? This bbs (bulletin board system) site is a forum for Chinese speakers preparing for these tests to share tips and experiences.
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) are the two most prominent English language proficiency tests in the world. Non-native speakers are often required to take these tests and submit results in order to gain entry to academic institutions or different jobs, or for immigration purposes.

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a test that is required for admissions to almost every graduate school in the US. It tests a learner's lifelong accumulation of skills such as reasoning, analysis, and critical thinking.
Clearly, these three tests all pose unique challenges for learners of English as a second language. They are all very important as well if your learner wishes to get higher-level work or education in the United States. Your learner will probably want to put in a lot of preparation and practice when taking one of these tests in order to avoid wasting time and money on retakes.
If your learner is a native Chinese speaker, there is a great online forum, entirely in Chinese, full of topics related to these tests. The forum's users discuss preparation strategies, important things to know about the tests, and their personal experiences in taking the tests, among other things.
While I do not personally speak Chinese, several of our learners at English At Large have used and recommended the forum. Hopefully, this resource will be useful in helping any Chinese-speaking learners achieve better results in these critical tests!
Happy tutoring!
